About Stephen
Stephen Summer has been practicing law in Austin and surrounding areas for over 23 years. Stephen took a nontraditional path to become a lawyer. He initially made his living as a professional musician, playing drums in numerous successful jazz and Latin jazz groups, locally, regionally and internationally. He then returned to school and obtained an undergraduate degree, a master’s degree in music and a law degree within a 10-year span. Stephen believes this combination of life experience, high-level creative endeavors and legal training enables him to approach the practice of law (and life) from an innovative, joyful and confident platform.
